Georgia Rail was founded by Clay Ivey and Ted Trammell in 2004.  The group has consistently added members since their adventure started.  Ted began it all when he purchased a sand rail and convinced Clay he needed to purchase one.  After the second sand rail was purchased Clay and Ted spent cold evenings under a tarp customizing the rail to their taste.  Once they both were owners of sand rails the journey was well on its way.  Since the beginning Clay and Ted have purchased and redesigned several buggies until their latest challenge.  Ted purchased a raw metal frame.  When he picked up his new project Clay was convinced to purchase a new 4 seater frame.  Clay and Ted spent the entire winter of 2007 preparing the new sand rails for the road.  They performed the complete construction of the rail's including the paint and motor.  The rails were put into service mid-spring of 2008
